Furikake Chex Mix

Hello everyone and welcome back! We're in December already and rapidly approaching the end of the year, 2021 has flown by! I think now is the perfect time to share this recipe now that we're getting back to get together with family and friends. Chex Mix is a holiday classic and the addition of furikake makes this party snack extra special.

What is furikake? Furikake is a dried Japanese seasoning consisting of seaweed, sesame seeds, dried fish, sugar and salt. Bonito flakes, dried salmon, ebi, shisho and powered miso can be included in the mix. Furikake can be spicy or sweet and salty. I like to use Nori Komi Furikake or Wasabi Fumi Furikake.
